Happy Fiesta..

I remember those days i was still in the Philippines, I always look forward every last Saturday of April. Its the feast of my paternal grandparents place in San Jose Talibon Bohol. It's always a day filled with laughter and joy. Reunions, long chit chat and a lot more. Foods,family and friends... today is another fiesta that i miss, but then somehow, I am not also ready to be there since this is the first fiesta since my grandfather passed away. I have lot of wonderful memories with him that will always be treasured in my heart forever.

I am sharing you some pics that always reminds me that there is always what we call home.

Life for me has been a roller coaster in the past few years. Most specially last year when my mom passed away after 4 years of of bearing the kidney failure. Not long after my mother died my paternal grandfather also died. It was so painful indeed. My world the turn upside down financially and emotionally.

Not to mention the sickness of my husband and the vehicular accident that my cousins had just in front of the funeral where my mom was laid.

When i try to look back it is very hard to carry on such storms in our lives. They say when it rains it really pours. but then in spite of all the trials i have been through I am still thankful of those wonderful heart who stood with us from the day one of my mothers sickness until the time we put her into the final resting. To all of you i know thank you is not enough.

With that i did a few thank you cards in which I would be giving to those people whom we share with us in this journey that we call life. I just wanna share with you one of those thank you cards that i made.

A page for Grandpa...

When i receive this picture i really want to create a L.O. for this. Lolo Pastor is the 1st cousin of my paternal grandmother. In spite the distance we always exchange e mails and snail mail. He's been one of those few people i admire and he inspire me in so many ways. He share with me this photo taken last January during there 39th wedding anniversary...Way to go Lolo and Aunt Norma. You are both an inspiration..

Absentee Voting...

Being a law abiding citezen (kuno) my husband and i cast our vote today in Philppine Embassy Qatar. During our lunch break we excused from our work to fulfill our obligation to our beloved Philippines.
I was a little bit disappointed since i was expecting in an automated election, but the when we arrive there the election was done manually.. an guess what they are only using a box made of cartoon for the ballot box.tsk tsk tsk...do u think my vote will be safe then?
