A bag and a card

Hello everyone! happy Friday I am back again  to share with you my craft of the day. Last week during our craft meet up i was able to make a small paper bag from the papertrey ink dies. This time i made some decorations and viola, it's now ready for little gifts for family and friends.

I have also made a birthday card for a little girl. Made from Hello Kitty chip board and some from my stash papers. I just run through an embossing folders.

Black and White...

Its my desire to use all cut emblem that is sitting in my craft table. Its really a challenge for me to do that. Any way here is my craft of the day. A black and white card. It's quite boring and sad but then it suits the meaning.

Oh Baby !

Last Monday we have a craft meet up here in Doha. I'm so glad i finally found some ladies who shares with me same passion. Yeah it's been a while since my last post. Ria of Heartforhandmade allow me to explore here Papertreyink die cuts. I so love all of her tools.

This is my first project for the month a Baby Card for a couple who recently receive there Gods Gift. A cutie bundle of joy!

I use the card template fromMOJO252 from mojomonday. I have been looking this blog but still i don't have the guts to join. well. This is my project, maybe next time i will join in the meantime will keep practicing.

Its my day..

Yeah it's definitely my day, not because its my birthday or our anniversary, but simply because i am done with another card while having my morning hot chocolate at my side. Actually I am not sure if this is a wedding card or a birthday card, anyway i think i can use this in either of the two. So here my card for today.

A Birthday..

Hi there another post for you guys...Two of my colleagues celebrated there birthday last week. I prepared them cards as usual. And i love it when they really did appreciate it.

This first card if for Nelson, it was always a challenging thing to prepare a masculine card. i'm just glad he loves it that way.

Another Birthday card is for Manju, she is from India and she was patiently waiting for her birthday to receive this card...so happy that she likes it. I was kind nervous for i knew she was expecting a beautiful card from me. I hope I made it

Thank You Lord for this talent where I can touch the heart of the people close to me. Lab lab!!!

Thankful..

In our lifes's journey we have a lot of things to be thankful of. The basic needs, the comfort of life.The family that was given to us and the friendship that we share to other people during life's journey.

I am very thankful for having a wonderful family and and a very close knit among the clan, blessed also with wonderful friends whom i consider a family too.

Last year 2009 is a bittersweet year for me. Sweet because It was the year of our church marriage. I for one believe that we need God's blessing in the union of two hearts. After over a year of having our civil rites we finally made a step of commiting ourselve in the fullness of the Lord.

It was then a painful year for i lost two special people in my life. A grandfather and my beloved mother. Both are inspiration to me. They are both my mento into the journey that we all call life. They are the living example of God's unconditional LOVE. They are both selfless for the family.

Lossing them both in a span of three months was not an easy journey to me.It was one my life's twist. I got lost for a while, but then i was THANKFUL to have wonderful people who stood with me all throughout. I don't need to enumerate them for they know who they are. To all of you Thanks so much!!!

I have made this cards to send them. In making this cards i realize how beautiful life is...and it makes me more Thankful each and evryday i live.

Gift/Note Cards

Last weekend I was a lazy butt..I did not went out as much as I wanna roam around but the hot weather and humidity makes me stay at home. I have cleaned the house, do the laundry and of course cooking.

While cleaning i find few card stocks stash. I cannot afford to put them in garbage so i turn them into 3x3 notes/ gift cards. Here are the finish product.

A Card for Papa

In few days from now we will be celebrating fathers day. I have prepare two card for my father and my father in law. It's very simple since i don't have enough embellishment suitable for man. Anyway its the thought that counts..hahahha

this is my card for my dear papa
{i used black since we are still mourning for loosing mama, a touch of red to see that life is still beautiful}

and this is for papa Bien my father in law., i choose many colors beacause he is a happy person.

to you both i wish and pray that our Lord will give you more years to enjoy the beauty of life. Take care of yourselves and i love you both!

Today May 23 is the birthday of my beloved husband. I thank God for giving him 37 years of good health and blessings. I didn't prepare that much. I just cook a good breakfast and made him this card.

we will attend mass after work and eat a fine dinner somewhere in the city...

Farewell my friend

A very good friend of mine in my community is leaving the country for good. Sure i will be missing her. She's been very good to me. She takes things as easy as possible. She was a prayer buddy...To sis Cheka i will miss u, but then I will be very happy that you will be united with your kids and lovey dovey. I made this card for her.

Thank You!

Life for me has been a roller coaster in the past few years. Most specially last year when my mom passed away after 4 years of of bearing the kidney failure. Not long after my mother died my paternal grandfather also died. It was so painful indeed. My world the turn upside down financially and emotionally.

Not to mention the sickness of my husband and the vehicular accident that my cousins had just in front of the funeral where my mom was laid.

When i try to look back it is very hard to carry on such storms in our lives. They say when it rains it really pours. but then in spite of all the trials i have been through I am still thankful of those wonderful heart who stood with us from the day one of my mothers sickness until the time we put her into the final resting. To all of you i know thank you is not enough.

With that i did a few thank you cards in which I would be giving to those people whom we share with us in this journey that we call life. I just wanna share with you one of those thank you cards that i made.

hi everyone...

March has come..whew time flies so fast..I have read from The blog of Joan that March is the National Craft Month.. I didn't knew it before hand but anyway i just want to play with some of my tools. last night i was able to create few projects. Picture below is one of the few project i created last night.
